We are a family of Graziers from Central North West Qld operating a 50 square mile beef cattle property situated at the headwaters of the Gilbert River.
We muster 2 x a year using horses, dogs, motorbikes and/or helicopter.
We are
• dam sinking, installing water tanks & troughs, for water points for stock.
• Building new cattle yards
• Fence building
• Building a house (almost finished) , quarters, sheds and more!
• Lick runs – feeding supplements to cattle
• Ongoing maintenance – gardens, house & in the paddocks etc etc etc
• Home Schooling 2 boys

Also, we have recently purchased an old ex tobacco farm in Mutchilba, 20km west of Mareeba to fatten steers . We seek caretaking help on either property - preferably long term but any length of time you can offer would help us out. Long story but my hubby is recovering from a serious accident and we are struggling to get back on track and running both places.
Could even alternate properties so you could get up close and personal with both types of country!
There is a lifetime of work to be done, but all we ask is that our gardens, chooks etc be maintained.
Own caravan not necessary but ok - we have heaps of room .
