Hi there, I'm your next pet-best-friend-er / home-looker-afterer / garden-keeper-aliver. I've been house-sitting continuously since January 2016. I'm very respectful of other people's homes and promise to care for your pets as if they were my own.

I'm a 35-year-old environmental engineer, working within the sustainable buildings industry in Brisbane. I also tutor various engineering and urban development courses at QUT and Griffith University.

I have an Advanced Diploma in "Scratch behind the ear" and a PhD in "Throwing sticks", so I can offer those skills to your pets on a regular basis. I love photography, so can leave you with some great photos of your fur-baby to cherish. I'm also a non-smoker, so won't stink up the place.

Sophie and Jay:
Dave has taken care of our house and pets at least half a dozen times over the last eight years. He is always reliable and we know our pets are in good hands. He will always send us a photo if we are missing them and once even taught our dog to play cards... we have a photo to prove it. The chances are he will have you in stitches with his witty photos and messages.

It is so good to come home from time away and find your house neat and tidy and well looked after. If you are looking for a friendly and reliable housesitter, Dave ticks all the boxes.

Lois and Rod:

David has successfully completed house- sits for us and we highly recommend him in this role.
We have found him to be entirely trustworthy, punctual and thoughtful. Our house was left spotless with clean linen on the beds and in the bathrooms. The lawn had been mowed and gardens were still growing. Our swimming pool was left in excellent condition.
The neighbours reported that there had been no parties or disturbances during our long absence.
We were provided with up-dates when required and the pets were lovingly cared for ( even a little spoilt.) We even had a welcome home message waiting for us from the cats.
David has also completed house- sits for other members of our family who have also been thoroughly delighted with the care taken with the house and animals.

We have no hesitation in recommending David as a reliable, hard-working and respectful house-sitter.

I have known David for over 30 years and find him reliable, trustworthy and a very likable man.

He house sat for us from February to late august 2016 and the house was clean and tidy when we returned. Our multitude of garden and potted plants were also well cared for.
