Hi, just an introduction to us. Kevin and I are a married couple in our 60’s who love animals and travelling so we’re combining our loves! We’re travelling to Australia to visit my daughter and her family but due to space constraints at their house we are looking for our own place to call home for the time we are in the Brisbane area.

We have previously had our own two cocker spaniels, and have had cats in the past, but haven’t had any companions since then as we are making the most of our golden years and travelling. We realised we could combine these loves and house sit whilst looking after someone’s beautiful pet like our own.

We are arriving 30th November and leaving on 21st January .
We have privately arranged a house sit from 10th Dec to 3rd Jan to look after 1 dog and 4 cats, so we are now looking for house sits either side of those dates.

We are hoping to do days out and, depending on if you have dogs (if they are elderly or prefer to stay at home) we would love to include them in our outings. We love big long walks, bush walks and beach walks as well as just short trips to local markets and relaxing at home.

We understand you may be nervous looking for house sitters but we can assure you that we are very respectful, will not be having wild parties (maybe a bit of red wine and playing cards) and we would love to look after your own family members with all the love we’d give our own. We are happy for you to FaceTime us or even meet my daughter who lives in Wishart, as we are not in the country yet.

We can provide references from 2 house sits we did Xmas 22/23 to add to our application if needed.
