We are travelling around Australia in our caravan from Perth around the top, down the east coast and home in a once off van trip.
Presently we are travelling in Nth Quld
and slowly headed down the coast.

Have booked various van parks, tours and a couple of short sits etc right through now until 7 October.
Leaving Melbourne along coast and hoping to spend a couple of weeks around the Yorke/Eyre peninsulas on the way home.

We live on acreage in the middle of the Swan Valley (Perth) with our sheep, chooks, poodle and hundreds of pot plants, 80+ roses, fruit trees, olive trees, bee hives and lotsa space.

We are used to our space at home so the chance to avoid the crowds by helping out while you are away is something we are looking forward to. Caravan parks can be a bit too cosy at times.
We house sat in Scotland for a retired police officer last July and looked after her cat while she was travelling.

We were recently at a friends holiday home in the NT and helping looking after the extensive gardens while there before moving on to see a lot more.

We own a house on the coast 200 km from home and have previously managed that and an older beach house prior, managing booking, cleaning, doing our own maintenance etc. We also have regular visitors (friends and people we swap accommodation with from abroad (England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland & around Aust) staying with us as we have a large 'apartment' next to our house in Perth

We are both very keen gardeners and I looked after a friends gardening business in 2021 for 7 weeks while he had both knees replaced, I work casually for a friend with 40 acres of table grapes mainly driving tractors, mowing, spraying etc and last year I grew 6 acres of seedless watermelons picking over 140 tonne for something to do.

We always leave places cleaner than when we arrive, even when we use payed accommodation, we leave it very tidy.
We are only looking at a few house sits, most of shorter duration and will need room for our caravan and ute.
We are happy to stay in the van if needed, just the use of water and power and hopefully a toilet (saves dumping ours daily) is required but are happy to use the home where the pets want people around.

We have owned dogs since we were kids, having had German Shepherds, sheep dogs, Jack Russel's and now a toy poodle.

We have had racing pigeons, peacocks, ducks, geese, hatched chickens, parrots, budgies, rabbits, hand reared lambs, bred cattle and much more.

I grew up on a farm and have lived in the Swan Valley since late 70's.

I worked in WA Police from 1984 to 2020 and have worked in many areas including a remote Kimberley community and more recent for the Australian Electoral Commission in 2022 & 23 in remote areas (they conduct a thorough check on all employees)
I was underwent and maintained the highest level of personal vetting being the National NV2 or Top Secret clearance due to my work in WA police from 2014 until I retired at the end of 2020 (which is a proper check of everything about me and family and friends not just a simple criminal record check which really is a 'box ticking' document only)

We are extremely tidy, love gardening, have tonnes of common sense, can fix nearly anything and have the highest ethics and as honest as you'll find anywhere.
