More information about this house sitter

We are a kind, caring, honest and reliable couple who have had pets all our lives. As relatively new house-sitters, we can reassure you that we genuinely love our small doggie, arrange house/pet-sitters for her (having done so for many years), when we go away and respect her feelings/desire to be in her usual surroundings, indoors or outdoors. We are conservative, non-smokers and non-drinkers and treat other people's property with care and respect. Peter is an experienced green-thumb, loves the outdoors, riding his mower, using the whipper-snipper, gardening - so your plants are in safe hands! Having been a cabinet-maker for 20 years, he's also a bit of a handy man as well. We expect to carry out regularly cleaning / maintenance as required to keep your place tidy. We both regularly walk our dogs and would be happy to exercise your dogs also, if required. We have experience in caring for family and friends' pets, in their absence, including dogs and cats. We have also completed a house-sit in the Clontarf area of Brisbane caring for the house and one cat, which went very well with no issues. Your pets can expect pats, laps and cuddles and to be fed/bathed in accordance with owner requirements (we won't give them scones, jam & cream, unless you want us to). We would only be available during school holidays for house-sits, due to work and study commitments. We are also involved in a kids club at our Church, Friday nights, during school term, so both have active blue cards for working with children.
We enjoy travel, bush-walking, local cafes, visiting family and friends and just spending time relaxing with a book and a pet or two.
