Hi there!

I’m Anya, a very happy and nurturing, mature, responsible and self employed yoga and meditation teacher.

I spend half of the year living abroad where I work very hard and intensively on yoga/meditation retreats. When I’m home in Australia I take my work online and enjoy having down-time.

I grew up with extensive gardens and a swimming pool and I am experienced in taking care of both.

I also spent time growing up on a farm in Jamberoo on the NSW South Coast and have lots of experience with taking care of animals.

I have a special connection with dogs and have owned and trained many, including a Kavoodle, a Staffy, a Kelpie-cross and a Blue Heeler Cattle Dog.

I love all creatures big and small and have owned cats, horses, a parrot, guinea pigs, ducks and fish and even a visiting tortoise at one stage. We also had a pet sheep and two goats on the farm. I have experience in looking after pet birds and chickens. Big, active dogs requiring lots of exercise are also fine with me.

I’m very tidy, clean, mindful, respectful and considerate. I’m 50 years old and like to keep fit. I’m very outdoorsy - love to walk and run. Equally I love to relax at home with a good book or movie. I absolutely love animals and due to my chosen work-lifestyle I can’t have my own pets.

I would love to care for yours and will do so as I would my own, with a lot of love, attention and affection including walks, cuddles and play. Having animals in my life is a real joy to me.

I have a bit of a green-thumb with plants - house plants, veggie patches and gardens. I come from a long line of keen gardeners and have had my own temperate gardens, tropical gardens, and productive veggie gardens so your plants will be in good hands.

I’ve been housesitting for 9 years and would be happy to provide excellent references both written and telephone and a current police check.
