Hello, I am an active, single 63 year old Retired Registered Nurse and book keeper.
Non smoker. I am new to house sitting & look forward to this new experience/adventure.
When others are looking to move north and escape the cold -- I am looking to move south to the cold. Would prefer to be in Tasmania.
I have a little dog "Princess" a Shih Tzu who is very much my furbaby, She would be coming with me .
She is an inside dog, sleeps on the bed with me --- I would bring my own linen and cover
I have a rural background having been bought up on a cattle property, lived most of my life on properties. I am very comfortable around all animals -- I am able to administer any medication and care for your animals and home while you enjoy your holidays
I live on a mixed grazing, irrigation and hay making property (6,000acres) with my son & his family. I do all & everything that is required when they are not home, looking after/feeding chooks, ducks, work dogs, horses, cattle, check watering points. Their youngest starts school in 2018
I do most of the gardening and mowing here, around the 2 houses, sheds, stables.
I have my CAMS Offical licence.
I do charity work.
Hobbies/interests:--- baking, reading, gardening, weeding, mowing, handcrafts, driving (RAV 4).
While I was working as a registered nurse I worked from Thursday Island to Flinders Island and Tasmania.
I have cared for many injured horses.
I have received my Police Check (now just have to upload it)
I have referree phone no's if required.
