Hello! I'm thinking outside the box for accommodations in Australia. I'm full-fledged Canadian, and have a lovely
"honorary daughter" (now that's a long story!) living and going to school in Victoria. She currently lives in Barwon Heads and will be studying a year in Melbourne, and I would LOVE to be able to come out for an extended period of time to see her. My hope is to come out for a month or two starting mid April or May. I recently put in my notice to leave my job here in Canada, which finishes up March 31, and now just want to take a break before jumping into my next work adventure, so my dates are somewhat flexible. I am a homeowner, and have been since I was 19, so I understand respecting property as I would want mine respected. As for pets, well I grew up with dogs, cats, chickens, geese (which were terrifying by the way), and horses. As an adult I loved my own cat for 19 years before she passed, and was Mama to a beautiful Arabian horse for 28 years, until he recently passed away last year (sad face). I believe in taking life pauses in between life chapters, and with my horse responsibilities alleviated for the first time since I was 13, and having no imminent work commitments, it just feels like the right time to travel abroad, and give someone else a belly rub for a change (the animals, not the owners)!
