We are a retired fit and active couple in our mid 60's.
We have only completed 4 housesits, but have completed many home exchanges in Australia and overseas since the 1990's, with the entire year of 2000 completing 15 international back to back home swaps in US and Canada. Since then we have been providing hospitality hosting of Australian and international travellers at our home in Townsville.
Peter is a skilled home handyman, and we both are keen gardeners. We live in a lovely home which we built ourselves 23 years ago, with a 25m lapping pool and 1/4 acre garden. We are very comfortable with repair/maintenance jobs and pool care.
We only have experience with caring for cats, having had two of our own for 13 years, and chickens. Not much experience with dogs, sorry.
Looking for homes, gardens and pools to care for when we holiday for several months each year.
