More information about this house sitter

We only have limited availability to complete a house sit in 2026 as we have a number of overseas trips booked for ourselves. When we are available to housesit, the spots we are most interested in house sitting in are Tamworth, Geelong in the city and Melbourne around Ivanhoe, Kew area.
Our adult children live in these locations and it would be lovely to stay nearby without being in their pockets. If you have a housesit available for a week or so and looking for someone to care for your home and pet in August or early September 2026 please let us know.

We are in our early 60’s and live in Toowoomba. We have been using house sitters to care for our own little dog and our home when we have been travelling overseas. After seeing how well this system works we have decided to offer our services as house sitters for when we can get away in Australia.

We currently have reviews as home owners but not as house sitters. I have posted one review in our photos but we can send you more reviews on request (we can only upload 8 photos).
I have posted some photos of our own home, pool and gardens so you can appreciate we are meticulous in caring for a property. We enjoy the company of household pets and walking them daily.

Our 3 adult children are doctors and are scattered about interstate. We have thought it would be nice to care for a home and pets in locations near our sons so we can enjoy living like a local rather than a visitor. As Helena is still working, house sits at this stage would be limited to 1-2 weeks. Both Roger and Helena have worked for the Queensland Government for their entire careers.
