More information about this house sitter

We are a fit, active mature couple continuing our journey in the world of house sitters. We have booked sitters for our own home in the past and have loved hearing their tales and now we have an opportunity to embark on extensive travel along with a chance to sit for other likeminded people. It also means that we are well aware of the stresses involved in booking a house sitter and, most importantly, knowing how we like to find our house on our return. We have extensive private experience sitting for two families who can provide references if needed. We have owned dogs and cats all our lives and also have some past rural animal experience with chickens, sheep, horses and goats.

Sue is a nurse and Mike runs his own IT business and is also a JP. We have had busy careers and enjoyed cycling, walking and a range of outdoor activities but are looking at travelling more and winding down a bit.

We are non-smokers and who are clean and tidy and love the garden. At home, Sue has a big veggie patch that keeps us in fresh food most of the year round. Your animals will be loved and well exercised and homes and gardens kept in great shape.

At times it may be one or both of us coming to sit depending on our schedules. We welcome the opportunity to look after your home and recognise the trust that you will have placed in us by booking us. Read more...
