Hello... Nice to meet you!

We are a professional family from Adelaide, South Australia. We are: Lachlan, Susannah, Isabella (16), Ewan (14), Ruth (11) and Archie (6).

We are currently seeking house-sits in the Brisbane area in January 2024.

In everyday life, Lachlan is a high school teacher at a Christian school and Susannah is a laboratory assistant at the same school. We also own and operate a small American-style sweet pie-baking business which supplies pies to cafes and also to the public.

The kids are all creative, intelligent and responsible people. We have travelled all over Australia, Canada, Mexico and the USA as a family, often staying in other people's houses, so the children respect and value other people's space and property.

We have had extensive experience with pets. We currently have a Greyhound, a collection of chooks and some fish. In the past we have had cats and other dogs. We have also looked after pets for family members on a number of occasions. Animals love us (especially me - Lachlan) and we love them. We are caring and responsible pet-minders.

We love to travel and feel that it is enriched by having 'real' experiences: staying in 'real' suburbs, meeting 'real' people, shopping at 'real' supermarkets, etc. That's why we love house-sitting.

Aside from travelling and exploring the world, we love: cooking and eating lots of different types of food; playing and picnicking in parks; being arty and crafty; reading piles and piles of books; and spending time together and with other friends and family.
