Hi,

We are two responsible professionals who are looking for house sitting opportunities around Melbourne. Alana is a psychologist and as such has a current police check and working with children check that can be provided on request. Similarly, Steve has clearance from the Australian Federal Police, which is a requirement of his current IT role. Thus, it is fair to say we are very trustworthy people.

We are non-smokers and are both neat and tidy. We have been house sitting regularly over the last 18 months and have attached references to our profile. All of the feedback we have received has been highly positive and we are now starting to get repeat business and recommendations to friends and family members of people we have previously house sat for. We treat our house sits like a job and will ensure that your specific requirements/requests are met; all of which will be discussed and laid out prior to us commencing.

We both love animals and have cared for dogs and cats of many types (from small to large, young to old!). We find that within a few days, the pets in our care come to love us and we bond with them very quickly! We do both work; however we have flexibility in our jobs to work from home on occasion and neither of us work long hours. Hence, your pets will get plenty of attention and we are both into health and fitness so will enjoy taking your dogs for walks and/or runs. We are both experienced with pets, particularly dogs and cats, having owned a number over the years (including large dog breeds).

In addition, we have experience in looking after swimming pools and are happy to water plants daily if required.
