We are Educators of 16 years who are taking a 14 month sabbatical starting July 2017 with our two children, (will be in Australia from October 20 to March 18)!
We enjoy an active lifestyle that ranges from camping and fishing to farming and biking. As a couple we have traveled through Central America, Europe, and Canada. As a teacher, I have organized and run a Travel Club that involved taking groups of 18-30 teenagers to Italy, Costa Rica, and Greece for 10-day trips. We have a heart for animals, culture, education, and adventure.
As part of an alternate education for our children (ages 7 & 9) this year, we desire to do homestays which can include: caring for other's beloved pets and animals, their home, and their yards/gardens! We desire to settle into an area to absorb ourselves in local life, culture, history, and experiences!
Caring for your treasured pets and homes would be an honor for our family, as we love befriending new people and animals. We've had a variety of pet and house sitting jobs, and our references speak highly of our character and care.
