More information about this house sitter
Hi! I’m a veterinarian working in practice for almost 10 years and have a lifelong love of animals. I'm new to mind a home but I've done lots of private housesitting/petsitting over the years and recognise that while the priority is knowing your little ones in safe hands, it's also really important to know someone will respect your home during their stay. I can promise you both of these, and hope this will help you will feel at ease while you are away.
I have a particular affinity for cats, having lived with and cared for them since childhood. I know just how unique each cat is and can quickly adapt to their individual quirks and needs. Additionally, I've recently completed advanced training in small mammals and reptiles (MANZCVS (Unusual Pets)) so you can trust in my knowledge and experience in looking after your small furry or scaly pets :)
As a vet, I’m confident giving medications and recognising when a pet may need care, and as I only work two days a week I can spend plenty of time with your little ones.
I’m a quiet, dependable person who mostly has indoor hobbies (crochet, embroidery), so I’m a good match for pets who enjoy gentle company. I’m not a good fit for very energetic dogs, and please be aware I don’t take on mowing or heavy garden work.
I have a calm, caring presence and I will treat your pets with love, patience, and attention as if they were my own. Read more...
