More information about this house sitter

Hi.
We are a couple, currently living in Sydney and recently returned from a very long overseas trip. I have another couple of months of long service leave and Steve has recently retired. We can stay with family, but do love having our own space when possible.
We are both good with pets - I have had dogs, cats, fish and chooks for most of my life and Steve has had dogs, mice, birds and chooks - not all at the same time....
We are both quiet, non smoking and we care for our properties and environment. We have worked in hotels for many years and we are both used to looking after properties and sorting any basic maintenance issues.
Steve is retired, but I may take on part time work to keep me entertained until I return to work permanently. We are treating 2018 as a semi-holiday/transition period.
We do own a couple of properties of our own, but as they are both currently rented out to excellent long term tenants, we would prefer to House sit rather than disturb these lovely people.
