Andrew and I are a recently retired UK couple living on the Northern Beaches where our 2 daughters and granddaughter live. We are both fit, active, non smokers and have many interests and of course are pet lovers. There hasn’t been a time in either Andrew’s or my life, even as children, that we can ever remember not having at least one cat in our house. When our girls were young we also had the usual array of other pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, fish and for many years we also owned horses. Our youngest daughter even used to look after a pet rat for a friend when their family went on holiday. This love of animals has transferred to our daughters and one of them now has Betty, a Boston Terrier.
Andrew grew up on a farm and worked on it in his youth so he is used to being around all sorts of different animals.
