About Us
We have been pet and home sitting since 2009. We are both in our fifties and are extremely trustworthy, very reliable, kind, honest people that love animals and gardening. We promise that we will take care of your pets and home as if they were our own. As homeowners for over thirty years and now landlords, we understand how precious homes are and how important it is to have someone looking after your property who can be 110% trusted.

As experienced animal lovers, we had pets whilst we had our family home, cats, dog, hamsters, fishes and birds. Scratch a very talented black and white cat was our last pet at home. Oh what a character he was, he would knock on the front door knocker to be let in being too lazy to come round the back to this cat flap. If we did not hear the faint knocking then Holly our border collie cross dog would alert us. But the only thanks Holly would get from Scratch was a hiss and a possible swipe of his paw as he walked in past her. We do miss them but as you can see we have wonderful memories.

We moved to Australia from the UK with our family (including our cats) in 2004. We bought a house in Adelaide where we lived for three years before moving to Queensland. Once Scratch passed away we brought a caravan and haven't looked back.

Since 2009 we have been travelling around Australia whilst pet and house sitting and working part-time. We also return back to Kent, England regularly to be with family and friends.
We have both UK and Australian Police Checks.

Why we want to house sit
The experience of being part of a community and exploring new locations enriched our lives. Through house sitting, we have made many friends who have invited us back time and time again to look after their homes and pets. We love to provide peace of mind to the homeowner whilst they are away by letting them know that their house and pets are being taken care of. We do not have pets of our own anymore but by taking care of other peoples pets we get the satisfaction we miss and need.

As house sitters since 2009 and homeowners, we have experience of looking after properties and dealing with any issue which may arise.
We are both house proud and enjoy gardening, tending the veggie plot and looking after the odd Vineyard. We have helped out with pruning, picking oranges and avocados. Taking care of Banana plants, looking after spas and swimming pools.

We have been fortunate enough to have house sat for two different couples - three times, one couple - two times as well as many others and we are still counting and enjoying every bit of it.

Some of the pets we have cared for whilst house sitting :
Milly and Tippy, two adorable dogs who lived with 1 duck and 11 chickens. We had to be fast when collecting the eggs as Tippy would always try to get to them and steal them first.
Riley, a captivating Jack Russell who we have had the pleasure of caring for 3 times and who since has sadly gone to pet heaven. She adored my husband Kim, his shadow.

Barry, Blanch and Pretty three cats who we have cared for twice. They are lovable mischief makers with individual characters. Barry playful but reserved who bought us the odd live trophy. Pretty loves snuggling up on the bed at night for cuddles and all the attention she can get. Blanche is shy, she likes her own space but loves dribbling while cuddling.

"Tracey and Kim cared for our pets (a cat and a dog) home and garden to an extremely high level of competence and care. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. On return our home and garden were immaculate. Two very happy pets who seemed to have forgotten us!! Our 5.5 month tour of Europe was made more relaxing knowing that everything at home was being cared for so well.
