We are a conscientious, happy and reliable couple who will treat your home and pets like our own. We will look after lawns/gardens/plants/pets and carry out basic maintenance tasks. We both love walking so dogs will have plenty of exercise. They will also get plenty of company and tlc.
We housesat through all of 2019 (through another site/ Grey Nomad Jobs/ and word of mouth) but stopped during Covid. We started travelling and house sitting again in 2021 (with a couple of repeat house and pet sits so we are doing something right) until we were offered jobs caretaking a large property in the Mary Valley. From that position we were offered jobs in the disability field which we did for nearly two years including teaching yoga and art (Sue)and maintenance work(Pete). We recently purchased a home on South Stradbroke Island but we cannot live there at present due to there being no water,power, or sewerage--you may have seen the unfortunate unfolding of events on the news. So, we are very thankful that we have already had the experiences of a nomadic lifestyle with all its joys in meeting new people and looking after different pets with of course some challenges thrown in (sharing our bed with mice during the mice plague in Western NSW) and we figure it's time to be nomads again.
We have excellent references and guarantee that you will come back to a happy pet/s and a clean and tidy home and garden.
