I am a carpenter running my own handy-man business "The Weatherboard Repairman" from my workshop in Brunswick. I also build furniture and surfboards from recycled materials.
For most of the last 25 years I have had a dual career as a professional bass player and social worker but felt a change was needed.

My main interests are carpentry, cooking, surfing, swimming and reading. My socal life is healthy and fairly quiet and when house-sitting I will make a point of meeting friends out somewhere. I also choose to be self-contained making as little impact as possibble on the property I am minding. I bring my own food, essentrial utensils, toiletries, bedding and modem.
I have successfully completed 5 house-sitting stays ranging from 1 to 3 months over the last 6 years. I am very happy to look afteryour pets and other animals, my previous stays have involved dogs, cats and chickens. Theses house-sits were via word of mouth and all house holders are willing referees.

I have chosen to be a house-sitter as this gives me flexibility between stays to spend time with my parents in Queensland who are experiencing health issues.
