We (Janette and Miles) are two caring, responsible, reliable, clean, neat, and respectful people who love travel and prefer the warmth of staying in a local home. We treasure our home and the possessions we’ve collected over a lifetime of travel, and understand that you want your home cared for as though it were our own. We are culturally sensitive and would be entirely respectful of your personal preferences. We have lots of experience caring for our own pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, poddy lambs) - Miles is particularly adept at giving medicine to dogs and cats. We are keen gardeners at our home and our small farm, where we have planted an olive grove, small orchard and done a lot of bush regeneration. We are experienced with small farm equipment like tractors, quad bikes, ride-on mowers and brush cutters, and all the challenges of managing scarce water in a dry climate. We are also excellent problem solvers and handy with repair tools, so we can be relied upon to take care of any problems that might arise in your absence. All the things you love about your home, pets and land will be safe in our hands.
