We’re Terra and Daniel.

​If you are looking for absolute peace of mind while you are away, we would love to help.

​I’m Terra, and I will be your primary pet and home carer. Animals have always been my greatest passion—many of my friends playfully call me the "animal whisperer" because of the natural connection I tend to form with them. Daniel lives and works locally in Canberra, and while he won’t be at every house sit, he will join me from time to time to lend a helping hand (and extra belly rubs).

​I have been housesitting across Australia and internationally since 1990. While I most frequently care for dogs and cats, my experience extends to a wide variety of animals, including:

​Daniel also brings plenty of experience with dogs, cats, and fish. With over 30 years of background in the security industry, he offers an extra layer of reassurance that your property and loved ones are in incredibly safe hands.

​Home, Garden, and Pool Care
​We treat your home with the utmost respect. I am more than happy to get my hands dirty keeping your garden thriving. I am also familiar with pool maintenance; as long as you leave your specific instructions regarding your filter and pH balance routines, I can easily keep it pristine.

​A Consistent Companion for Your Pets
​As a writer, my work is home-based, which means your indoor companions will rarely be left alone. My daily routine naturally revolves around them—filled with plenty of walks, playtime, enrichment, and quiet companionship.
​When I am not caring for animals, I write. I am a published author well-regarded in the travel, adventure, and mental health spaces. My first book chronicled my walk around Australia to raise awareness for suicide prevention, and I am currently working on my second travel memoir.
