Hello

I am Penelope and I am keen to house sit for you, your pets and home. Nearly 2 years ago my beautiful, loving 15 year old border collie, Bailey, sadly passed away and I miss him every day. I’ve had him since a puppy and I have room in my heart to care for your much loved pets too.

Now I am completely free to move around and available to house sit for you. I have previously sat many pets and their homes with happy repeat clients who keep me busy. I enjoy keeping fit and healthy and I have time to exercise your pets as much as required and look after your home.

I am a responsible full time working professional working mainly from home with a day in the office and I am transitioning from The Sunshine Coast to Brisbane as of Jan 2026 and will care for your home and pets as if they were my own. I'm confident to administer any pet medication and look after their well being as well as tend to your plants, garden, lawn and pool and other items that need caring for.

I’m very much an animal lover and I have grown up with birds, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, fish and looked after sheep, chickens and ducks. For over 15 years I worked at the family sheep farm during crutching and shearing time in Tamworth. I even brought a lamb home one time, as my young daughter insisted we bring her home and we nursed her to full health after she had been rejected by her Mum. We named her Hope and she now lives with 2 other sheep, grazing on luscious grass and mangoes - what a life!

I have grown children, with their own dog and I have frequently sat pets in their homes for neighbours, friends and friends of friends. I own my home and in the past I have frequently hosted foreign students attending the University.

As I am transitioning to Brisbane I am happy to meet with you where possible or Zoom/video call to discuss your requirements and make sure we are comfortable with each other and your pets. This gives you a great chance to see and meet me and explain your needs and rest easy knowing your pets are comfortably at home, in thier familiar surroundings and in great hands. I really value the exchange between home owner and house sitter and pride myself on taking great responsibility to ensure your pets and home are well cared for, as if they are my own.
