More information about this house sitter

Thirty-something, non-smoking, professional woman recently returned 'home' to Canberra/Murrumbateman after 6-months backpacking, farm work, and trying my hand at living in a big city - Sydney.

I am an experienced house and pet sitter and can provide excellent references. From memory my first house-sitting job was in about 2002 so I've had plenty of off-on experience over the years.

I also have grown up on hobby farms and worked on a commercial farm, so I'm happy to house sit rural properties within 30 minute or so of north Canberra (e.g Bungendore, Murrumbateman, Sutton, Queanbeyan, Wywong etc).

I'm very clean and tidy and looking for a clean home to sit. In return, I'll entertain and care for your pets, do basic gardening, and ensure you go on holidays feeling good knowing your home and pets are in good hands!

I've worked with dogs and cats of all temperaments... and a herd of over 50 goats, donkies, pigs and working dogs, so I like to think I've earned the badge of being good with animals! :)

My motivation for house/pet -sitting is that I'm saving a house deposit, so house sitting provides a great opportunity to accelerate my saving goals. House prices in Canberra!! :|

In my spare time I exercise and walk frequently, read, go to the movies and enjoy the occasional Netflix binge. I'm active but a home body and love the company of pets.

My preference is 1-3 week stints, although I'm happy to do weekends or longer-term too. Sometimes it's good to have a regular house sitter on call when you just want a quick weekend away.
