Hi, I'm Kara! I am a non-smoker and I am experienced in taking care of a wide range of pets - from bigger, older, anxious dogs to small ones. I have also taken on the responsibility of caring for multiple rescue animals at once and their varying needs, including cats, chickens and ducks.

I have been asked to take care of many homes for friends before and have had my own large-high energy rescue dog (15 years old now). Although I won't be bringing her with me, I have ample experience with high-energy working breed dogs, anxious dogs of all sizes, as well as cats (both older cats and kittens), chickens, and ducks. I grew up with horses and taking care of hobby farms.

My work allows for a flexible schedule, as I mainly work from home. I work in healthy homes and I am very respectful of how people keep their homes.

I enjoy the change of scenery and the company of animals during house-sitting assignments, which is why I have been asked by friends to care for their homes and pets over the years. I have house sat between 2-24 days and can easily provide references.

I have also maintained gardens and indoor plants

I'm looking for longer stays at the moment as I am in between deciding if I will be moving interstate and working on a project for the next couple of months (from home). I'm staying with friends so I'm looking for longer stay times for the change of scenery and to break up my stay there.
