Hi, we are a close-knit family, dad and mum (Christopher and Priscilla) with three children aged 12, 9, and 8, plus our friendly and gorgeous Spoodle dog (who will not be on house sits if you do not want him there, as we have a sitter who loves to look after him).

With flexible work hours and a homeschooling lifestyle, we are blessed to be available to get away as a family to spend quality time together at various times throughout the year. So, we are on the lookout for some house-sitting jobs in places that we have never been or would love to visit again.

We are business owners of a painting company in coastal Victoria, but our work background is vast between us, with jobs that includes several years doing farmhand work on a dairy farm, and on a horse and beef farm. Chris also had a business doing lawn mowing maintenance and Priscilla has worked in a cattery in her early years and currently cleans an AirBNB throughout the summer months. That’s not all, we have had many other job experiences that would be too boring and irrelevant to read.

Chris grew up on a farm in New Zealand, so he knows everything from mending fences, drenching, to feeding out (using tractors and quadbikes was how he learnt to drive!). We both have had experience being around and caring for animals as we have either looked after or grew up with dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, cattle and horses and fish. But now our goal is to encourage and teach our children the same responsibility (which was one of the reasons why we got our dog).

Our children are adaptable, helpful, respectful of others and others property and belongings. So, I would have no concerns that they would not do the same at your place.

We are non-smokers. We own a home (along with the bank), so we definitely understand the hard work it is to own a home. We take pride in maintaining a clean home and enjoy pottering around in the garden (and so do the kids – we don’t need to convince our 12 year old to mow the lawn as he loves doing it). As homeowners ourselves we will treat your home just like we do ours—with care and respect. We also have a caravan with toilet, which we can use if you would prefer, to ensure flexibility and convenience for our house-sitting stays.
