OUR EXPERIENCE with Mindahome -
We joined Mindahome just prior to the Pandemic. With Covid-19 restrictions on travel over we secured our first two house sits in Queensland over the winter months 2022. We were invited to sit at two homes and completed those sits to the satisfaction of the home owners. Both home owners gave us glowing reviews for the service we provided. We enjoyed the experience of caring for their homes, pets and gardens.

OUR PROFILE -
We are clean and tidy, house proud, home owners living in a quiet Victorian township.

We retired early from our jobs. Since then we built our current home and also spent time travelling Australia extensively.

Shirley was a nurse. I was a Victorian Policeman for thirty eight years. We acquired all the skills and capabilities usually associated with those occupations.

We own a nice home with a big garden that gives us a lot of pleasure.

We do not currently have pets. We have had dogs, cats, horse, sheep and chickens as pets when the children were young. At the moment we have one cat - Belle. #Belle doesn't travel with us - my daughter takes her in - we reciprocate by looking after her dogs and cat when she goes away.

Between Shirley and I we have the skills to look after someone else's home. Your home and pets will be well cared for.

We are both active but have a few issues usually associated with folk in their late sixties. We are both active but also content to read and watch TV.

TRAVEL and AVAILABILITY -
We will travel to and from any assignments by car with a small poptop caravan. Remote areas will not be a problem.

We hope to winter in the north during the Victorian winter months and want to help others get away.

Shirley and I will take on assignments during the months of JUNE, JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER and perhaps a bit of OCTOBER ONLY. That leaves us a big chunk of time with the grandchildren and time to be home.

While we do have a small poptop caravan we would prefer to be accommodated in your home if possible. We would need some easily accessible space to park our van.
