We are a 56 and 61 year old very active, retired couple. (We just completed a cycling trip from Adelaide to Mornington, cycling 600km/week) Having owned and operated small and large businesses, we consider ourselves to be very practical, responsible and reliable. We have had a lifetime of caring for things : children, gardens, houses and pets (dogs, chickens, guinea pigs, bunnies and fish). We have had dogs all our lives and understand the responsibilities associated with good ownership(walking, companionship and lots of love and patting) We have a 5 year old koolie/kelpie female dog who is very gentle and well socialised. It is our preference for her to be with us, but it is not essential. Our hobbies include long distance cycle touring, hiking and volunteering. Currently, we are volunteering for a 5 month period driving the support vehicle for the Watoto Children's Choir from Uganda, which is touring around Australia. We had extensive interviews and checks to be selected for this position. The tour finishes on the 7th October and we would like to house sit after this date. We both have current police checks and can supply references as needed.
