Hi, we are Rose & Victor (Kiwi/Australian) who sold our country homestead in Stanbridge, Riverina, NSW in 2020, and are now on the road exploring Australia in our Avan Aliner camper.
Victor is ex RAAF and a retired Public Servant and I am a retired Bookkeeper. We are an active married couple in our sixties. Non smokers. We are self reliant. independent, reliable, responsible, adaptable and easy going. We are both Covid-19 vaccinated.
We have travelled and moved around Australia and overseas for many years with the RAAF, including postings to Malaysia and the Solomon Islands.
We are experienced house sitters who since 2011, have looked after dogs (large & small), cats and poultry in the UK, Switzerland, France, The Hague, Vancouver Island, Malta, New Zealand and Australia.
Our personal travels have also taken us to the USA, Vanuatu, Germany, Switzerland and Sweden.
Our dogs have always been an integral part of our family, spending time with us inside and outside the house.
We love the great outdoors, the peace and quiet of the countryside, as well as the hustle and bustle of city life. We walk every day, and like to spend time in the garden. We love to cook, and are always happy to curl up with a good book, watch a movie or sport on the telly.
We enjoy exploring new neighbourhoods and having coffee at the local cafe and watching the world go by. Our passion is travel and exploring new surroundings, so house sitting gives us the opportunity to feel like part of the community, and not just a tourist.
We do not charge for our house sitting services, and do not expect to pay a bond or utilities for short assignments, but for longer assignments we are willing to negotiate payment of utilities.
We are happy to supply references and photos and a police check if required.
