Hello. My name is Larisa. I am a mature quiet, healthy living, non-smoker/drinker. A former homeowner for many years who will respect and appreciate yours. House sitter since 2012 though new to using websites. International traveller and writer currently working part time in Northern Rivers and S.E QLD in both Aged Care and Alternative Therapies. Looking for house/pet sits in close proximity to these areas.

I love animals. (I miss my cat and dog of 15+ years.) I am more than happy to walk your dog, cuddle your cat, feed your fish or talk to your chooks. I have experience with pets from the very social to the shy, nervous, needy and older. I have looked after fur-babies, properties, plants and gardens in the suburbs and the countryside of Australia and NZ.

If you are you worried about leaving older family members at home while you go away I can offer support and assistance. With qualifications and longstanding experience in aged care/disability, your family member will be well cared for.

I have a police clearance, blue card, and references from satisfied homeowners that you can contact. Available for both long and short stays.

To anyone looking for an excellent House-sitter.
Larisa has housesat and looked after my beautiful boy on four separate occasions over the past three years. She takes good care of my puppy Odi who is my absolute world.
She walks him and loves him up so he doesn't fret while I am away. I always return to a happy boy, clean house and healthy garden. I can highly recommend Larisa for her caring and looking after all that is precious.

Larisa house sat for us while we were away on a family holiday for a month in October 2016. Our place is about 15 kilometres out of town and we have dogs, cats and chooks which she cared for daily (the dogs absolutely loved her because she threw sticks for them). We showed her how to maintain our slightly complicated water tank system and she was fine with that. She's personable and friendly but respectful so I was confident in asking her to look after our stuff and she always responded quickly if I tried to contact her. Being a writer, she likes a quiet, calm atmosphere rather than parties (thankfully!). I'd be happy to leave my place in her capable hands again. Read more...
