We are a retired couple in our 60s. John has 50 years service to the Airforce and Heather was a travel consultant for over 35 years.
We are healthy and active and love to travel both overseas and within our lovely country. We have done a lot of longhaul travel and are now looking forward to seeing more of Australia. We like to spend 2-3weeks at a time in one locality so we can really explore and live like a local. However we are open to shorter or longer stays.
We were Airbnb hosts, inviting guests from all over the world to share our lovely home with us. We have welcomed over 300 guests over the past 5 years and have achieved Superhost status with a consistent 5 star rating. Due to the drop in international tourists due to Covid, we have paused Airbnb and focusing more on seeing more of Australia ourselves and housesitting wherever possible.
Heather enjoys cooking and gardening and John loves to potter in his shed and read. John is also very handy when it comes to maintenance and repairs.
As we are away from home a lot we currently don’t have any pets but have had in the past. We are very happy to walk and groom your dog, look after birds,cats ,chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits etc and have had some experience with small farm animals.
We can also keep your garden watered and mow your lawn as required.
We are a very honest, reliable non smoking couple who take a lot of pride in our home and garden and enjoy meeting and helping people. We would look after your neat & tidy home and your animals as if they were our own. Read more...
