We are looking for a housesit in Perth from 20th January until 21st February 2024.

We were both born in the UK, and after living in the Midi-Pyrénées in France for 16 years, we moved back to the UK in November 2020. Before we moved to France in 2004, Martin was a professional musician working with orchestras in the UK and also taught as an Instrumental Specialist in two of the UK's leading Independent Schools. Heather was a teacher of children with Special Educational Needs and enjoyed teaching English on a voluntary basis in France. We were proud of our home in France, which took us three years to renovate, and therefore very much appreciate and respect other people's homes and belongings. We have been home-owners for over 45 years and consider ourselves security conscious, reliable and trustworthy.

We have been members of Trusted Housesitters for 12 years and have had sits in France, Italy, Switzerland, America, England, and to date 6 in Australia. We have many five star references with them.

We have always enjoyed travelling - Martin through touring with professional orchestras, and Heather through holidaying! We also love animals but found the 'end of life' decisions too traumatic to ever have our own again. In the past we have had two very much loved dogs - a yellow Lab cross and a lively Tibetan Terrier - both from Animal Rescue Centres. Housesitting gives us the opportunity to travel and to look after others loved pets now that we are retired.

Up until 2017 we managed a luxury vacation property in France. This involved taking bookings, meeting clients, and generally making sure that they had a good holiday. We also ensured that the house, grounds and pool were perfectly presented when they arrived. We bring this level of care and cleanliness to our housesitting assignments. We have many five star references and clean driving licenses. Heather has recently completed a Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management.
