Hello! We are Tricia & Shaun and thank you for considering us to be your house/pet sitters. We are fit & healthy non-smokers and enjoy long walks, cycling, travelling, photography & love animals! Shaun is also a life long Oldham Athletic football fan! We are friendly & outgoing and between us we have a lifetime experience of owning & maintaining our own properties and enjoying caring for our pets; 7 dogs, numerous cats, birds, pigeons, tropical fish and even goats! We have recently taken early retirement and begun what we plan to be an exciting time in our lives where we can embrace every day and do what we love to do.

We absolutely love travelling and meeting new people and have lived and holidayed in many countries around the globe including many favourites such as Greece including the Greek Islands, Spain, France, Germany, Singapore, Australia, Canada, Portugal, Holland, Thailand, USA, Malawi and of course the UK!

We love to house sit because we have been very lucky to see many beautiful parts of the world but there are many, many more to see. By exchanging our valuable, reliable and caring service of house and pet sitting we in turn will also benefit and indulge in our passion for travelling, meeting lovely new people and pets whilst staying in your relaxing home rather than an impersonal hotel and experience the joy of what the new day brings.

As home owners we understand the responsibility of keeping up and maintaining a home both inside and out in the garden and there isn’t anything much better than sitting in a well kept garden with a brew or a glass of wine when all the jobs are done! We know how it feels to put your home and pets in someone else’s hands and you can be assured that we will do everything to look after your home and pets as if they were our own. For the last few years we haven’t had any pets due to our work commitments and it is fabulous to have animals back in our lives.

What we bring to the assignment & our relative experience is we are an honest, trustworthy, reliable, organised, mature professional couple, who have worked all our lives whilst bringing up our families and progressing our careers. We will always do our very best to fit in with your requirements. We bring both practical hands on skills, the experience of loving and caring for all sorts of animals and good old fashioned common sense to our responsibilities of caring for your home/pets. Shaun is a retired Construction Manager & Joiner by trade who has renovated properties with all that entails, laid patios, constructed decking in gardens, re-roofed houses, together with general garden and swimming pool maintenance. Tricia is a retired Pharmaceutical Therapy Representative, qualified Teacher in Adult Education and additionally has taught English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL qualification).

We are already booking well in advance so please contact us as soon as you know your dates so you can book our home/pet sitting service and enjoy peace of mind from the beginning as you make your other arrangements.

We can both provide Police Clearance Certificates and we do not charge for our services.

Wow, ten days spent looking after the house, the pool, our two elderly cats and four orphaned kittens and when we came back the house was cleaner and tidier than when we left, the pool had been cleaned, the garden watered and the cats/kittens so well looked after they were looking forward to us going away again.Not only are Tricia and Shaun all those things we have given five stars to below - but they are both such nice people who you just know will look after the house and pets as if they were their own.

Tricia and Shaun arrived early the day we where due to leave, not a problem. They had lunch with us and although we had only exchanged emails and spoke on the telephone. I knew then Asta was going to be in capable hands and she was. the house was looked after perfectly and we came back to a happy and contented little dog and a beautifully clean home.
I would recommend Tricia and Shaun to anyone looking for a stress free house sit.

Tricia and Shaun proved fabulous sitters for our two elderly cats over the past seven weeks. We were delighted to have chosen them from our many applicants and would do so again without hesitation.

Communication prior to the sit and throughout was excellent. We also appreciated their arrival a day before we left so we could share information about our cats and home and we could all get to know one another. They also stayed until after our return so we could debrief over a shared meal.

We appreciated their welcome home which not only included relaxed, happy cats and a very clean, tidy home and garden but also a card, lovely photos of our furry girls and beautiful flowers.

It is our pleasure to recommend Tricia and Shaun to anyone looking for exceptional house sitters. We were away from our home and miniature labradoodle dog, Maisie, for 2 and a half months. During this time we were in regular contact with Tricia and Shaun. They sent us many emails, often containing delightful photos of Maisie, keeping us updated with what was happening at our property and letting us know all of the activities they were doing with Maisie. We returned home to a garden and lawn that were in great condition (not easy to do in the heat of Summer in Perth!), a spotless and tidy house, and a very contented little dog. They even went to the trouble of leaving us a card, flowers, and 2 photos of Maisie (one in a frame) which we so appreciated. We were able to meet Tricia and Shaun for lunch before the sit and found them to be a really friendly, delightful couple. They went out of their way to bond with Maisie, and kept her very well exercised with walks and trips to the local dog beach. We would love to have them back again. Anyone considering using them as House Sitters would be most fortunate to have such reliable, friendly, and trustworthy people to be in their home and care for their pet.

Our first experience of Trusted House sitters and we are totally on board, this is one of those rare occasions in life when expectations are exceeded, we were absolutely delighted with our sitters.
