Hello home owners,

I began my house sitting journey back in 2018 when I made the decision to leave home (Lakes Entrance, Vic) and drive up the stunning east coast of Australia on a solo adventure. I fell in love with house sitting as a way of 'slow travel', and as of January 2024 I have now completed over 40 house sits. I met my wonderful partner Nick in 2020 while I was staying with my family in Vic, and he began to join me in the house sitting/nomadic journey! We travelled for 4 months during 2022 and left again in March of 2023, slowly making our way north to the warmth 🌞. We love the freedom of this lifestyle and all the beautiful animals and places we get to see along the way.

I'm 33 years old and a bit of an old soul. I enjoy peacefulness, and spending as much time in the serenity of nature as possible. While I trained as an Occupational Therapist and worked in the fields of mental health, aged care, and disability (2009-2020), these days I am much more interested in the area of natural/alternative health, and am looking to start a healing & coaching business in the future. I am organised, clean, responsible and reliable. I love writing, reading, photography, meditation, yoga, walks/hiking, connecting with animals and exploring our beautiful country. Nick is much the same- a kind, gentle and down to earth guy with lots of handyman, maintenance and gardening skills having been a landscaper, plumber, self-taught mechanic and in general, a tinkerer! He loves to keep busy and enjoys fixing things as well as watering & mowing the garden.

We are both HUGE animal lovers- I come from a home on acreage that always had many rescue pets so I have lots of experience, and I'm comfortable with all animals, big and small. Nick also grew up on land so he has farming and cattle experience. We will LOVE and adore your pets as if they're our own, providing all the affection they need as well as exercise and daily photos to owners if they wish. If your pets are in the bed with you, then they're in the bed with us!

House sitting has been such a gift in my life. It has allowed me to see so much of this incredible country and meet so many wonderful people and new furry friends. As I enjoy the freedom of moving around and have such an adaptable/flexible nature, it's a very unique lifestyle that suits me perfectly. I have a huge range of house sitting experience, with my longest sit being 6 months. You name it, I’ve probably done it- from large rural properties to suburban homes, to rooftop apartments!

I have many excellent references listed here and on another house sitting website, as well as written references from friends, friends of friends and colleagues who I have house sat for. Most home owners I house sit for inform me of how comfortable and at ease they feel when they meet me, and while they're away. With open, honest and ongoing communication I provide the reassurance that home owners need so they can relax into their holiday and know that their home, garden and pets are being loved and cared for.
