I'm a gregarious professional in the midst of relocating from Adelaide to Sydney (north-west region preferably) and require to find a house-sitting gig between the end of December to mid February 2017 but am happy to do this in smaller chunks.
I'm an ardent animal lover - three years ago we lived on an acreage in South Africa where we looked after 12 cats, 3 dogs, the local birdlife and any rescued or orphaned animals we came across.
I will be starting a new job in Sydney from 3rd January which will require me to leave home early (around 6:00) and return after work (around 18:00) but my experience with our animals is that feeding in the morning and afternoon is ideal.
I am fully vegan so no animal products used or cooked. I don't smoke or drink either and like to stay fit - happy to walk dogs (and even cats - been there and done that) as well as the usual essential house chores required.
I will use the spare time I have to both bond with any animals I may have in my care while searching for suitable permanent digs in the same area that will accommodate my wife and me and our pets when we do the final move in Feb.
I won't be bringing any of the cats with me for any house-sitting jobs.
