Hello!

We’re a couple in our mid 30s who are easy-going, reliable, respectful and we adore animals. Before the pandemic, we did a lot of travel and enjoyed discovering new experiences; these days, it’s been great to explore ‘our own backyard’ a little more, especially with the new flexibility of working remotely and freelancing.

The reviews on here are for me (Caitlin) as I used to house sit for about 2 years on my own before meeting Gary.

Fun fact: Has written two novels, has completed 3 different caminos in Spain and France (They are walking pilgrimages of 30km + walking per day so if you have a dog who needs long walks, he's your guy!)


The appeal of Mindahome for us is the opportunity to get to know a new neighbourhood and its people, cafes, natural surroundings, nooks and crannies. Welcoming the love of a new furry/feathered or scaly friend is an added bonus!

We both have experience caring for a variety of pets (including lizards and farm animals) as well as kids and the elderly. We both have working with children checks and our full driving licenses and a car so can take your furry/feathered/scaled family members to a vet in case of emergency.

I work as a photographer so I'd also be happy to photograph your home and/or pets and give you the digital files for future listings or just for you to have as keepsakes.

We’re very respectful of all people and places and will treat your place and pets as if they were own own, with love and care.
