Leaving your home and beloved pets can be a very daunting experience - we've been there! But you can trust us to look after your home while you're away and give the best possible care to your pets. My husband says I love animals more than I love people and I'm afraid it's true! Having grown up with animals our whole lives we understand that they are not just a pet but part of the family.

A bit about us:
I'm 37 years old, Swedish-Australian, and work as an office administrator. My husband, Craig, is 32 and a qualified architect who owns his own design business on the Gold Coast. We are a married couple (no kids) who have recently moved back to Australia.

We are truly respectful of people's personal space and property, and will look after your place with the utmost care and diligence. We love animals and will make sure they are treated with lots of care and love. We are genuine, happy and easy going people. Clean and tidy. We will keep your existing routine of your pets so they don't feel out of sorts and so you don't have to go through too much of an adjustment when you get back. E.g. whether they are indoor or outdoor pets, need daily walks, grooming, feeding at certain times, nothing is a problem for us.

We have experience house sitting both here in Australia and overseas, most recently a month with horses, dogs, cats, birds and chickens! Full house but enjoyed every minute of it :) I've also been volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation centre in Africa, feeding and caring for rescued animals including monkeys, dogs, birds, serval cats and even lions (although I kept them at a big distance!)

We are happy to do light gardening, as well as stock your house with basic supplies (e.g. milk, bread etc) for when you come home so you can at least have a coffee and brekky on your first day back without having to run to the shops.

Both of us work in Arundel so would ideally sit in the northern areas nearby including Labrador, Helensvale, Biggera Waters, Runaway Bay, Paradise Point, Oxenford, Pacific Pines, Hope Island and Coomera but can be flexible of course.
