More information about this house sitter

Hi, my name is Sandy. I'm a non-smoking and cheerful person working part time from home. Having become an empty nester, of both kids and pets, I'm able to travel and experience other places.

At present I have fur and feather grand babies that I adore. I grew up on and around farms with a variety of animals. As townies, we have had several much-loved family pets including cats, dogs, Bantam hens, and parrots.

In terms of other people's pets - I've done short and longer term (up to 12 months) care of cats and dogs mostly for family and friends. I'm conscientious about following an owner's preferences and instructions, plus am confident in administering medications to pets with chronic conditions.

In the garden - when necessary, I can attend to basic care and maintenance such as watering, weeding, and pruning to keep things tidy. Mowing depends on the type of equipment.

As a house guest - I'm quiet, tidy, and respectful. In addition to having house sat for family and friends, I've looked after homes in Australia and overseas when I was child minding and nannying in my mid-twenties. More recently I've worked in the hospitality and accommodation industry so am experienced in maintaining good housekeeping and facilities management. I've also done Airbnb stays and hosting.

I hold a blue card and am cleared as a volunteer within a hospital and emergency services, all of which required passing background and police checks. Read more...
