Hi!

My name is Jillian and I am in Australia on a working holiday visa, hoping to be able to experience different parts of Melbourne while I work as a Florist. I have been traveling Europe for the past 8 months, volunteering with Workaway where I stayed with hosts and helped with various things around their homes including pet care, restoring a chateau, finishing touches on building a house, and farmwork. It has been a wonderful experience and I loved being able to take care of animals since I dearly miss having pets of my own.

I am responsible, clean and tidy, LOVE animals and gardening, and am generally a very laid back individual that is not keen to bring the party home.
I have never not had a pet until this past year and my animal care experience includes having 4 dogs, 5 cats, several hamsters, newts, a bird, guinea pigs, and fish throughout my lifetime along with rescuing and raising a couple of baby bunnies who lost their mothers. While volunteering this year, I have helped to take care of several dogs and cats, chickens, and horses.

A bit about me:
I am from the US midwest, have two sisters, a degree in Apparel Merchandising and Fashion Design and am a generally artsy person. My hobbies include reading, crafting, photography, cooking, thrift shopping, recreational swimming and beach days, and I can never get enough tea! I will treat your home and animals with the utmost respect and am more than happy to keep your home well kept and safe for you!

It was a real pleasure to have Jillian with us.
Jillian is the most chilled out person and so easy to have around.
Everything she undertook, she did with care and attention and was onboard for any sort of job.
We cooked up alot of nice meals together, painted, made daily bouquets, did wall tapestry, and more.
And she took very good care of the chickens.
She will fit in well in any situation and I highly recommend her.
