Respectful, neat & tidy animal lovers with oodles of common sense and great reviews!

We are a non-smoking, married couple, Katherine (me! 33) and Julian (31). We have recently moved to Australia from Europe. Julian is a returning Aussie and is working in central Sydney. I'm new to Australia - being a Brit - and I won't be working but I would love to spend my time looking after your pets and your home whilst you're away.

I have lots of experience of looking after dogs and cats. As an animal lover I would always volunteer my services to look after the dogs of my friends, family and work colleagues back in the UK. I would often have dog sitting jobs back to back in my own home and I loved every single one of the dogs I looked after. I am a big softie and if the owner's rules allowed for it, the dogs would get lots of cuddles on the sofa, I even looked after a labradoodle who would sleep on my bed every night. But don't worry, I know how much work goes into training a dog and I will absolutely ensure that all of your rules are kept to whilst you're away so that your pet doesn't get into bad habits.

I'm also very active and love taking dogs out for walks and runs and playing fetch in the park, so if you're dog is active, I will keep them entertained.

I also love cats, I had a beautiful black cat who was very special to me. He was very affectionate and I miss him terribly so a chance to spend time looking after others' pet cats would be wonderful.

I don't have experience of looking after other animals (apart from a couple of turtles a number of years ago, a flock of native birds on one of my sits and 4 hermit crabs on another!) but I'm certainly open to caring for any pet.

We are both very responsible people, with lots of common sense. We are highly respectful of others' space and belongings and we will leave everything as we find it. I also love cleaning (strangely enough), so if you would like me to undertake any cleaning or organising whilst you're away I would be more than happy to do so.

Katherine and Julian were brilliant! It's the first holiday I have taken when I didn't worry once about the house, the cat and everything that goes along with being away from home for a while. Tilly was so content when we arrived home and was so pleased to see us, unlike the sulking we often get when she comes home from the cattery! So we know she had a lot of fun while we were away! And when we returned our house was tidier than I think I have ever seen it! The bathrooms, the kitchen, bedrooms and living room all sparkled! Couldn't be happier.
