Hello!

My name is Niv. I am an introverted girl in my late twenties.

I enjoy quiet activities, such as watching movies and TV, walks and day hikes, listening to music, journaling, reading, cooking and baking (and eating and drinking!), and long scenic drives.

I work in the Australian Public Service, so I am based in Canberra. However, as there are departmental offices in all major cities across Australia and I am able to work remote some of the time, I travel up and down the east coast throughout the year. Sometimes I veer off the east coast as well!

I have been housesitting full-time since July 2023, and on and off since 2018. I have over 30 5-star reviews, however these are on another platform. Please reach out for further information.

I have cared for all sorts, from designer cats in inner city homes, to working dogs on large properties (plus any livestock or chickens that come with those properties!). I have also cared for more indoor plants than I can count, as well as ornamental and veggie gardens.

Through this journey, I have met some of the most wonderful and generous people, seen the most gorgeous places, and cared for some of the funniest little pets.

I have chosen to housesit full-time for several reasons.

This lifestyle allows me to meet amazing people and pets, travel as I work, and save money all at once!

I approach my housesitting role with respect: for you, your pet(s), and of course your home. I work with you to keep your pets’ routines in place while you are away and am happy to check in (with pictures!) as little or as much as you like.
