Hello! My name is LIz. I am 41 years of age and travel solo. I enjoy being in different places and having a change of scenery. Due to ill health I have been unable to work for more than a decade and therefore spend most of my time at home base. During this time I have gained considerable house sitting and pet sitting experience (looked after many cats, an experience of looking after numerous tanks of tropical fish, chooks, alpacas, horses, couple of dogs and cockatoos), assisting friends when they have gone away (longest time is 6 months), and I absolutely love spending time with all the animals! Due to my physical abilities cat sitting is the best option for me, although I am open to house sits with a dog(s) or other animals that do not require me to exercise the animals.

Prior to the onset of severe illness I was 8 months into a PhD in the environmental sciences area. I love weeding and gardening when I am able to do so (if staying longer than a week this should be OK), am able to water gardens and plants daily. I love animals. I meditate. I am clean and respectful of other people's space and belongings. I get allergies and asthma and so tend to clean and wash frequently. I am a non drinker and non smoker and have no pets of my own. I am generally very flexible with start and finish dates. Happy to learn new skills and look after animals I have not looked after before. Prefer a minimum stay of two weeks but open to all offers.
