More information about this house sitter

We are an energetic couple with extensive experience in house and pet sitting. As home owners ourselves, we bring many years of experience and reliability to any assignment.

Now retired from management consulting and corporate communications, we have swapped the office for the open road where we delight in travelling and exploring Australia.

Until we started our travels we lived on a small acreage in the hinterland of Queensland's sunshine coast where kangaroos would graze outside our back door. We were active members of the Land for Wildlife organisation, rehabilitating our land to provide a safe and hospitable environment for local wildlife.
Our house and pet sitting experiences have included caring for dogs, cats, horses, miniature ponies, donkeys, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and fish.
We have owned two Australian working dogs as much loved family pets, caring for them from energetic pups into their dotage. One dog in particular thrived on a meticulous medication regimen; and one very senior cat also basked in our love and attention.
We love to employ house and pet sitting as a way of exploring new places as we travel. We are an organised, task oriented couple - non smokers, with excellent references.
Because caring for your home and perhaps your treasured pets requires trust and commitment on both sides, we are very happy to Skype or meet in person without obligation, if logistics permit. Read more...
