* As my services are free on this website, I have to factor in petrol/commute time between commitments. Re. new clients: bookings of 5+ days for inner North, South and Central Canberra preferred. That said, I can also do long weekends in those areas, Belconnen and Gungahlin.

Hello! My name is June and I am a reliable, responsible 35 year old professional who has worked in government, international affairs and development. Canberra is my hometown and I have recently returned from living overseas. I have petsat for several friends and colleagues to date, with repeat requests. I am a non-smoker single (no-guest sitter policy), with plenty of common sense and maturity. Valid police check available.

I have cared for various pets and properties; and owned several pets myself from age 13. Pets I have owned: dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs, from babies to seniors. I have cared for birds, cats and puppies/dogs (10+ canines), including fosters and former rescues.

I have particular experience/passion rehabilitating, training and caring for dogs, including ones with rescue/trauma history, anxiety, obesity and arthritis. I cared for a samoyed, labradors, German shepherd, English pointer, border collie, cocker spaniel, mini schnauzer, chihuahuas, pugs and less identifiable mixes! I love large dogs, and can hold my own with energetic boisterous ones, having rehabilitated one myself and cared for several.

I am environmentally-conscious and try to keep utilities consumption low. I am clean, tidy and organised; and treat client homes and pets as carefully as my own. Good with low-maintenance pot plants and garden. A quiet homebody, I am security minded, easily contactable and have my own car in event of emergencies.

Happy to meet to spend time with your pets prior to your absence, should they need additional help adjusting. I provide regular visual and written updates on your property and pets' wellbeing during your time away.
