Hi,
We are Jen (35) and Dan (42).
We are from the uk, here for a year with a view to stay!

Currently unavailable for houssits untill after September 2024.

We are a little older than the usual travellers tend to be and we have found workaways, volunteering and house sitting to be an enjoyable way for us to explore this beautiful country.

We have carried out house and pet sitting for our friends and family in the UK, our most recent sit was for 3 adorable french bull dogs in a 5 bedroom country side house

We are a responsible, relaxed couple who enjoys spending in time nature,board games, chilling at the beach, paddle boarding and most of all animals!

We have lots of experience with animals between us and adore spending time with them and getting to know their individual quirks and personalities.

Dan-
I lived in Australia as a child and I'm fortunate enough to hold dual citizenship.
I am an avid photographer who specifically likes taking pictures of sunsets and landscapes. I enjoy gardening and I have a dream to learn how to play the saxophone one day.

I have previously worked for the UK police for 6 years as an emergency call handler and dispatcher. My most recent role was as a manager for elections team in my local government.

Jen-
I'm a creative, arty person. I love to read, either getting lost in an adventure novel or feeding my brain with some facts / "how to" books.
I have always been around animals of some kind, I bond with cats, runs with dogs, chat to chickens and everything in between.

I have worked for private clients managing their family estates, running their homes, tending to their gardens, raising their animals, including raising and training a Labrador puppy for 7 years.
I have previously managed pubs and restaurants. I have experience working on a farm picking turnips and helping to look after the sheep.
