Hi! I am Kara! Pleasure to e-meet you!

A responsible non-smoker, 40 years young, fit, healthy, active, with my own vehicle, looking for house/pet sitting experiences whilst working from my laptop.

I have been house/pet sitting on and off for 4 years but permanently since March 2022. I have lots of references I can share with you!

I work from home so would be at your house the majority of the time. When not at home, I love going for hikes, to the beach, trying cafes and restaurants, I love yoga and pilates and exploring all the local area has to offer (I take the dogs with me where I can too!)

I have my own business as a coach and hypnotherapist, all done via Zoom!

I am so lucky to have created this successful digital nomad life and love exploring this beautiful country of ours whilst I work out where I'd like to live one day.

I am in no hurry to put down roots! I went through the lengthy lockdowns in Melbourne and am very much enjoying my freedom again.

I bring with me Ruth, my 3yo cavoodle. She is toilet trained, doesn't shed fur and gets along with all dogs (big and small), cats and birds are OK too. She's not much of a barker and very well trained. Sleeps on her bed on the floor. Doesn't chew things. She is really no trouble.

I grew up in country Vic so have experience with feeding chooks, sheep and cattle, can drive a manual, mow lawns etc.

I have some dog training experience also so may be able to help with that. Ruth was very anxious as a pup so I am used to dogs who struggle without their owners and can give them extra love.

I also love the garden, and will help to maintain them. I'm a 'budding' green thumb so your house plants will be well looked after too.

I've grown up with pets - dogs and cats, love all animals (maybe not snakes... Not keen to take care of snakes sorry!) 😂

I'm confident with taking care of any of your beloved pets, just leave detailed instructions and I'll follow them to a tee. Medication is no problem either.

I have experience with luxury properties - basic maintenance on swimming pools, outdoor spas, tropical fish tanks, and have helped with directing building contractors completing renovations too.

I am clean, kind, honest and friendly. I'll take care of your house, garden and furry friends as if they were my own.

All I ask in return is a comfy bed and reliable wifi.

Criminal checks, working with children checks, many house/pet sitting references... I have them all and am happy to share them with you, plus anything else you might need.

I can video chat so you can show me around your home, introduce your pets and get to know me should a meet and greet prior be difficult to arrange.

My bookings calendar is up to date if you'd like to check my availability.

PLEASE NOTE: FULLY BOOKED THROUGH UNTIL FEBRUARY 2023.

I confirm up to 3 months in advance (I don't want to let anyone down - when I confirm, I confirm but longer sits are my preference) so send me all of the details of your sit upfront.

Open to all opportunities - regional, rural, city or suburban. I am loving exploring the East Coast and will be in FNQ as well.

2+ weeks min ideally (but 4-6 weeks are my preference). Short stays considered for a small daily fee.
