Hi!

I'm 30 years old and have been enjoying the adventure of house sitting for more than a year now. I've met many beautiful animals and shared their love while caring for them and have come to know some beautiful new spots in NSW that I can't wait to visit again.

I'm from Gosford originally. I grew up in a strict Christian household and was heavily involved in classical music (on violin) from a young age which I decided I wanted to do as my career by age 13. I went to Gosford High School then studied in London at the Royal Academy of Music and even played in the London Symphony Orchestra for a bit.

My career went quite high, but I was struggling a lot with never accepting who I am and always trying to be better, and at the height of this I burn out in 2013.

Since then I've had big life changes. You could say I've been on a spiritual journey within myself. I've done a lot of travelling from volunteering to WWOOFing and living in ashrams, changing my culture, accepting my sexuality, discovering the world on MY terms and that there's more to life than just music.

I've had a lot of life experience in the last 4 years, and now consider myself an 'old soul'.

But a simple fact remains - *I love animals* - both dogs and cats and birds and snakes and every little critter there is - even the ones that sting - and I love the love that many of them freely give back to me.

I'm needing to have some space at this time in my life (and visit friends at my pace) so in the quietude of house sitting, animals are the perfect companion. Dogs are great exercise buddies as well.

I have a day-job one day a week in Swansea (and don't mind traveling for that one day a week), have the odd music gig on the violin, but most of my work is from home over the Internet and so I need a reliable broadband connection for those purposes.

I'm quite experienced with house and pet sitting now, so know what matters to most homeowners (i.e. as a feeling of safety and happiness on the part of their pets!) and I often have requests to come back.

I'm also familiar with rural living and vege patch maintenance and scenarios like that because my parents are horticulturists/organic farmers and I grew up on two acerages with bore/tank water my whole life!

I think I'll go back to classical music full-time one day, but for now I'm re-configuring myself as a person. I'm really enjoying house sitting and I think I'll do a great job looking after yours.
