We are a retired active non-smoking couple in our 60’s and have lived in Townsville QLD for 30 years running a business and working as a registered nurse and raising our 4 children. As of April 22 we are both fully vaccinated against Covid having received our 2nd booster, totalling 4 shots in all. We have always had dogs (a Cavalier King Charles and a Golden Retriever) and cats and happily have them all as inside pets and our dogs are always exercised as we are active walkers. We are keen gardeners and also love to travel and have done so overseas extensively.

Most people when looking for house sitters are intending on have a relaxing holiday, our intention is to take any lingering worry out of having strangers in your house. We care for your home and pets as if they were our own, we will make as much or as little contact as you wish, mainly to let you know how your pets are going. On every sit we have done we have established a great bond with the pets, they too have enjoyed a stress free time with us with all the love and care you would normally give them. We wont pester you with minor things, if there is a leaking tap we will fix it, if the towel rail comes off the wall, we will fix it, most minor repair jobs that crop up in the normal course of having a home will be attended to if it is within our skill set. We have owned many houses over the years and renovated some so we are quite resourceful. We use our own pillows, linen and towels, toiletries, toilet paper, dishwashing tablets and liquid, and all food and personal items.
When you return you will find staples in the fridge and often a simple meal to tide you over after your travels home. We do this to ensure you have had a relaxing and stress free holiday.
