Retired business couple. We have travelled extensively and enjoy taking care of properties and pets . We will take the best care of your home and garden and love your fur babies as if they were our own .
We are experienced in relief management of high end luxury accommodation meticulous cleaning and ground acreage upkeep.

We were fortunate to have Laurel and Rod not only look after our tourism accommodation business, but our home and pet dog, Tillie, while we took two much appreciated international holidays. They were both totally honest, reliable and fully committed to maintaining the operation of not only our business, but our substantial residence, pet and extensive gardens. We simply could not fault their commitment and execution in looking after and maintaining our business and premises on these two occasions and would look forward to having them back when next we go on holiday, should they be available. Every year we head north and spend Xmas away. Leaving 3 dogs and a property is always a stressful and potentially a costly exercise. We have used House Sitters for three years and Rod and Laurel certainly didn't disappoint. I actually think our home was in better shape than we we left. Great communicators and a very easy going couple. Thank you Rod and Laurel for looking after our pets and our home. Very appreciative of the stay. Thank you and safe travels.

They are excellent with communication and updates, baked us muffins, left me wine and food and did odd jobs around the house to make my life easier on return. Laurel and Rod were exceptional in every way. This was the first time we had used their lovely services as our sitters of four years moved back to Italy. From beginning to end, communication was second to none. Throughout our 2.5 weeks' overseas trip, our two pussy cats were treated with tender, loving care and it was beyond reassuring to constantly receive photos and updates from Rod and Laurel. Communication has been maintained and very much appreciated since our return. Upon the return home, it was difficult to imagine anyone had actually stayed in our home as it was meticulous throughout. We cannot review this delightful, professional and friendly couple more highly and we very much hope they will become regular sitters for our future trips. Thank you Laurel and Rod xx

We were so very fortunate to have Laurel & Rod care for our 2 gorgeous 10 year old pups, contrary cat, crazy chook, spoilt guinea pigs & demanding horses. They not only managed all the pet's routines beautifully, they took so much time in giving them love & attention. This was particularly important as one of our pups had a tumour removed 3 months before our holiday. We came back to a very healthy & happy boy, so can't thank them enough. Their communication was first rate, sending us photos & updates. They got the hang of things very easily/quickly . Our home was beautifully clean & better organised than we'd left it! Everything was so well cared for. We can't recommend Laurel & Rod highly enough. They are wonderful people & first rate sitters. We'd use them again without hesitation

Thank you to Laurel and Rod for looking after both our dogs and house. The dogs were happy and healthy when we returned, and we know they were well taken care of and loved with updated cuddly photos. The house was clean and tidy, and they were so considerate and even took the sit one step further and made sure we had fresh bread and milk on our return. Communication was easy and I can tell that Laurel amd Rod are loyal and honest people. would be happy to have them back any time!

Laurel and Rod are the most genuine and lovely people! They took amazing care of our cat and dog loving them like they were their own. We could tell when we came home how safe and happy our babies felt with them. They even stayed up until midnight to make sure we got home safely so our fur babies didn't have to be alone! I couldn't recommend them enough to anyone considering a house sitter, they were the best :)

I knew instantly it was going to be smooth sailing. Cooper can be anxious with new people and needs time to be comfortable. Laurel and Rod listened to our instructions on how to deal with Cooper, and in return, they were rewarded with a new friend for life. Cooper just loved them both! I appreciated the updates, but I knew all our furbabies would be just fine. Everything was left perfect. I would have Laurel and Rod back in a heartbeat.

We went away feeling very comfortable that they would do a great job and we were not disappointed. Both the house and yard were neat as a pin when we returned. Our fur baby had been spoilt and loved as if she were their own. Communication while we were away was excellent with photo evidence that pooch was having the time of her life!! We were so very lucky to meet Rod and Laurel. They did an excellent job of looking after our two puppies and our house and garden. Georgie and Louis were very content and happy when we got home and the house was immaculate. Rod had cleaned up all of the debris after storms two days in a row and mended the back fence that a branch had fallen on. Laurel had cooked a delicious dinner for the day we got home that we enjoyed with them. We’re looking forward to their next sit because the four of us got along so well and the puppies love them.

Laurel and Rod are superb housesitters. We recently had them look after our home and our three Bichons. The dogs were well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed being cared by Laurel and Rod. It was great to get photos of the pups being cuddled - they were obviously not at all concerned about us leaving them. Our home was left in excellent condition. We have no hesitation in having them come again for Christmas and cannot recommend them highly enough.
