More information about this house sitter
In N Sydney for 7 years now after teaching English, secondary level, 38 years in the U.S. Aussie wife still working so house-minding is a lift to get me away from the empty house once in a while. I did some pet minding in 2014-15, then felt too busy but now our son has moved out and I have itchy feet again. I love the quirkiness of cats and I enjoy the companionship of dogs. Pets need more than food--they need attention and the reassurance of stewardship. I like bushwalking, reading and listening to music. I don't usually drive, but I don't mind improvising transport or being housebound. Not looking for income. I stay busy nowadays visiting the elderly, singing in a church choir, and volunteering at Wayside Chapel Cafe in Kings Cross. This year, I finished writing a book on female characters in Shakespeare’s plays.
